This course introduces the principles of database design with MS Access. Implementation of the designed database is a part of this course. To be covered are (a) Table design; (b) Simple Queries; (c) Forms design; and (d) Reports.
At the end of this course, the learner will have known what database is, why we need it, and how to design and implement it. Part of the class activities will be to design and implement a school database in MS Access.

This course focuses on fundamentals of Relational Database Design, implementation and manipulation using Oracle 10g/11g.
The learner will receive a hands-on introduction to SQL Basics and SQL*Plus as well as learn about relational databases and how to access data stored in them via SQL and SQL*Plus.
In the end, the learner will be able to design functional databases, populate them, query them and analyse data using Oracle.

Visual Basic for Application - VBA | The focus of this course will be to automate database with the Visual Basic Editor programming interface,
and the event-driven programming model in Microsoft Access and data access technologies (DAO/ADO).
The participants will learn to navigate the VBE environment, create basic programming units and apply VBA programming objects that include variables, arrays, and controlling executions. They will learn to implement dynamic coding using object models; use form, report and control events to link program units to your application; create error-handling routines; and use DAO/ADO to automate database tasks.
